Solitude - A friend in need

Solitude is the only thing we need sometimes to experience the peace and solace in life. It is so much like a friend, isn't it :)

While getting often lost in the thoughts,
She would find Solitude sitting by her side.
Noticing her presence and feeling relieved,
She would forget everything and join her in a silent ride.

Thinking of things she had been unable to share,
She would then tell her everything from beginning till end.
Pausing sometimes in between and then contemplating deep,
She would enjoy being heard by her invisible friend.

While getting disturbed by the cacophony in the world,
She would call her often to spend some time along.
While getting tired at times and longing for peace,
She would rejoice in her company, not caring where she belong.

Though there were many friends who would listen her stories,
She would find Solitude, a special one in need.
Making her experience tranquility and taking away all the clutter,
Solitude was, for her, a selfless friend indeed.

Journey of Life

Life can become so beautiful if we take it as a journey and enjoy it's every moment, without worrying about the destination :) This poem describes how:

How about wandering somewhere aimlessly,
And then getting lost in the beauty of nature?
How about listening sweet chirping of birds,
And pausing to observe every wonderful creature.

How about observing the flowers basking in the sunshine,
And then smiling, thinking how happily they live.
How about feeling the coolness of winds passing by,
And experiencing solace and peace they generously give.

How about walking on the wet green grass in early morning,
And feeling the freshness in life that would last long.
How about looking at the dancing leaves in the air,
And feeling so happy that you start singing along.

How about making your mind completely free of tensions,
And then leaving all the things on the Almighty thereon.
Life is a journey too short to keep thinking and mourning,
What is gone, is gone, Isn't it better to smile and move on?

Strolling alone in winter

February month has started here in India, signalling the near end of winter season but strolling alone while the cool breeze is passing by, is an amazing experience described below:

Opening the closed doors and feeling the cool breeze passing by,
She decided to step out and stroll alone under the dark sky.

Thinking God was trying to signal her something through breeze,
She smiled, unprotected, without even caring if she would freeze.

Observing the dancing leaves and staring at twinkling stars in the sky,
She thanked God for His wonderful creation and praised Him high.

Looking at her long hair, flying with the current of air,
She thought of someone special who would really care.

Sensing the goosebumps and looking around the lonely street,
She felt enthralled, hoping if there was someone to meet.

Realizing that commencement of Valentine's day was near,
She imagined embracing her valentine, without any fear.
